The Technical furniture for Crisis Rooms will be from the MEET range of the GESAB brand. It shall be designed specifically for critical environments 24/7, with high ergonomic and durability requirements. It must allow easy maintenance and management of the wiring without affecting the workstation's operability.
The structure may be open or closed, it must be composed of a main beam, with capacity to accommodate connections and wiring, supported on sides and a structural base that in addition to reinforcing the table, will channel the wiring.
The work surface shall be made of compact phenolic resin. The operator must have a Personal Area on the work surface, with space for power, voice and data connectors of free configuration, accessible by pivot cover.
TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
BEAM:
The structural beam must be made of modular aluminium profiles that will form a T-shaped structure.
The beam must ensure convenient maintenance and management of the wiring even with the table installed and operating.
It must have a system of pivoting caps with position control and magnetic closure.
The beam shall include a separate area for wiring and equipment.
STRUCTURAL BASE:
The structural base must complete the double function of reinforcing the table structure, as well as the distribution of the wiring from the technical floor to the sides.
It must be manufactured with aluminum profiles and registrable lid in phenolic compact finish to match the work surface.
The base shall integrate a tray for wiring channelling.
The structural base will allow the open structure design.
WORK SURFACE:
The standard work surface must be made of HPL (phenolic compact) with a thickness of 18mm. It will have available finishes in natural wood veneer 25mm thick and beveled at 60º.
It must have a perimeter cantilever throughout the table (without structure at the ends) to provide an obstacle-free meeting space.
CENTRAL AREA PD:
The central area will reserve a space dedicated exclusively for the personal equipment's connection (Smartphone, iPads, Laptops), as well as the management of the usual peripherals in the meeting and collaborative tables such as microphones, interaction screens and other devices. In this way, all connectivity and secondary uses will be centralized over the technical area of the structure.
The central area will integrate PersonalDock of meetings with pivoting caps with fall retention and
flush with the surface.
The Central Zone must be customizable in colors and corporate brand integration.
SIDES:
The sides must be composed by 2 aluminum profiles of 3mm thickness, with a modular design that will allow the configuration of different widths of structure while maintaining the characteristic design.
The sides must include 2 trays for the organization of wiring and must have enough capacity to integrate 2 lifting columns of the Sit & Stand models without modifying its design.
The technical area must be concealed on the inner face of the structure by accessible HPL covers with a finish matching the work surface.
QUALITY AND WARRANTY
Both national (EU) design and manufacture must be guaranteed. With leading suppliers in each sector to guarantee the highest quality standards and an exhaustive internal control throughout the process from design to assembly.
CERTIFICATES OF EXCELLENCE
ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
The company that will manufacture the product must be certified by an accredited body in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 in order to guarantee the highest standards in quality, environmental management and health and safety.
The warranty period of the products shall be extended for a period of at least TEN YEARS against manufacturing defects, excepting accessories, components and mechanical, electrical and electronic elements that the system or product incorporates, whose warranty period shall be at least two years.
HEALTH AND ERGONOMICS
It shall comply with the guidelines of UNE-EN ISO 11064: ERGONOMIC DESIGN OF CONTROL CENTRES.
All meeting tables will have a Sit&Stand version to promote dynamic meetings that contributes to improve people's health.
SOFTWARE AND FORMATS
Furniture must have 3D families in REVIT (.rfa) and 3D STUDIO MAX (.fbx and .max) formats, for its integration in the technical documentation of the project.
SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
The ability to repair and replace any part, as well as quality and durability are effective eco-design strategies. The use of materials with high recyclability and the use of materials with a high percentage of already recycled material shall be ensured.
The repairability and replaceability of all components of the consoles shall be guaranteed for the lifetime of the product.
The manufacturer shall certify 80% already recycled aluminium in all extruded and cast aluminium parts and 70% in steel parts.
The manufacturer of phenolic compact (HPL) must certify 50% recycled material in its production.
The GREENGUARD UL 2818-2013
Standard for Building Materials, Finishes and Furnishings certificate will be presented.
This certificate ensures that the products used in the manufacture of the console meet strict emission limits for particulate matter and chemicals harmful to the human body, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure, while contributing to healthier indoor environments.
