LX Premium X-Ray Shielding Lead Glass offers excellent impact resistance, radiation protection and visual clarity. LX Premium is high quality optical grade, lead barium type, X-ray shielding lead glass that consists of over 60% heavy metal oxide with a minimum of 55% Pbo. It is inserted into two panels of protective sheet glass for easy cleaning.

High transparency - glass surface will not stain or discolor when lead substances react to moisture or lipids
Multilayer laminated glass is resistant to breakage from impact
Laminated for impact safety resistance
Excellent maintainability - glass can be cleaned using such items as a wet cloth, glass cleaners, and detergents without any concern about staining or discoloration
Ideal for use in medical facilities, laboratories, observation windows, airports, and screens for radiation
Available in 3 thicknesses: LX12 Premium (12 mm) used in most X-ray radiation applications, LX14 Premium (14 mm) and LX20 Premium (20 mm) used in cancer flouroscopic treatment facilities or when a greater protection is required
