Round table Funghi

Large, stable and with a lot of character. That’s Funghi, designed by Kaka Arkitekter. The unique stand made of self-locking sheets of birch plywood not only provides an expressive shape. It also gives the table a stability that allows for an unusually large tabletop and facilitates future reuse through simple disassembly and reconditioning options.

The table is entirely made of wood, which results in low C02 emissions. Many people can gather around Funghi, standing as well as sitting, as the table comes in three heights and with a standard diameter of 150 cm. A piece of furniture that is as suitable for creative meetings in the office, as for quiet lunchtime conversations in the dining room, group work at school or a short debriefing in the foyer. All products can be manufactured to adapt to the intended environment.

The core of the tabletop is birch plywood 24mm, environmentally certified. As standard there are five choices of functional surfaces for the tabletop; Resandable thick veneer 1.5mm ash/oak, Hp laminate, Fenix laminate, Desktop linoleum and Kayar rubber surface. Rounded open plywood edge, edge radius 18 mm. Undercarriage consists of four plywood plates that are assembled without glue and metal, the only metal are the screws. The pillar has no filling material, the table is completely stable in its own construction. Edge-free table for best accessibility, top-to-floor dimensions at least 70 cm.
