Elegant, shapely and natural – characteristics that the FRAMEWORKX XT4 timber frame system combines. With the addition of XT4 to our product portfolio, we are expanding our range of frame systems, especially for interior or protected exterior applications. If stainless steel is a bit too cold and sterile for you, we can also offer you wood as a material in the future. The finish with saliva-proof oil or a special varnish as used for musical instruments completes the sanded surface. A look that is second to none.
The curved shape of the X-TEND mesh is cleverly combined with the natural grain of the solid oak profile. A combination that radiates warmth and security at the same time. Due to the individual growth of the natural product, each frame is unique and a special eye-catcher of your building project. For the FRAMEWORKX XT4 frame system, only high-quality and regional woods are used. In addition to the solid oak frames, woods with similar characteristics, such as ash or beech, can also be used.
Wood, as a renewable resource, is used more and more often in construction or for decorative purposes. The wood frames, which are chamfered all around, can be customized to your wishes or project either with black nets, blank nets or with a selection of colors from the X-TEND Colours program. As with the XT2 and XT3 stainless steel frame systems, the stainless-steel nets and frame systems are subjected to regular quality checks and tests. From incoming goods, net production and assembly to outgoing goods, all steps are monitored by a control plan and an external testing institute.
Safety is also a top priority for XT4. Therefore, dynamic impact tests must also be passed here in order to be able to hold a falling person in an emergency. Various hole diameters, stepped holes or threaded screw-in sockets can be incorporated into the profile for fastening the timber frames. The ready-to-install frames can then be easily screwed directly to your substructure.
