Green wall components can be column shapes or freestanding elements of an almost endless variety of shapes. They can enhance an entry, combine with signage, create a colonnade and be incorporated into lighting or fountain features. The rigid Greenscreen panels can be notched and trimmed to precise dimensions for integrating into fenestration, access panel locations, gates, and utilities. Panels can also be trimmed to shapes or curved. Greenscreen, constructed with a continuous welded wire truss system that creates a three inch depth, has a unique structural capability for constructing shapes and attaching to structure.
Custom Shapes: Unique shapes can be created because of the rigid panel characteristics of Greenscreen. Panels can be notched, cut at angle, or cut on a curve. When cut off-grid, a trim must be used. Compound cuts can be used to create larger three-dimensional shapes, and special trims can be made to accommodate unique applications. Rigid panels can be cut to create unique shapes that can span between structural supports both horizontally and vertically.
The Greenscreen trellis panel is fabricated with a continuous welded wire truss system that creates a three inch depth with unique structural capabilities for mounting and attachment. The unique three-dimensional design of the Greenscreen trellis panel does not need to be held in tension when mounting and modular components can be stacked to create tall installations.
Vines and other plant types used for freestanding green wall designs benefit from the additional support of the Greenscreen three-dimensional construction that provides virtually continuous plant support, adequate room for plant development to maturity, and a captive growing space.
Attachment: Greenscreen has a complete collection of necessary wall mount attachment hardware available in matching powdercoat finishes. This clip system provides flexibility to increase the space between the mounting surface and the trellis panel to accommodate structural elements, conduits, drainage components, and other irregular surface conditions.
Design: Considering the unique structural characteristics of the rigid Greenscreen
panel and the flexibility to curve, bend, notch, and shape, we like to say that the possibilities are endless and limited only by your imagination. Greenscreen
does not require a structural frame surrounding the panel and many interesting shapes have been created by designer's consideration of working with a simple yet flexible panel shape.
Greenscreen has two optional edge trims available for using as visual accent, for use as a closure strip adjacent to pedestrian traffic, for a trimming edge for plant maintenance, and with panels that are designed in unique shapes or cut at angles.
There are five standard powdercoat finishes available for Greenscreen
and attachment hardware:
