Our smart card reader, which is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, has a high-resolution display and illuminated keypad.

Clear user instructions displayed on screen with large icons. Information about the door status is also clearly displayed, indicating whether it is unlocked and whether the alarm is armed or disarmed. The background image of the reader can be easily changed to a custom logo and any welcome text can be entered to match your profile. Smart features make it possible to change the PIN directly in the reader. You can also arm/disarm different alarm areas thanks to the large screen and clear menu system. The reader is fully integrated into the R-CARD 5000 system and can be used as an initiation reader for all our offline readers. It is offered with Desfire EV2/Mifare Classic reading technology or as a combination of both Desfire EV2/Mifare Classic and Prox.

The MIF-509 is available in black and grey/black colour combinations.
