4020 Installation Speaker
The Genelec 4020 is very compact and unobtrusive system which will surprise many with its unbelievable performance and beautiful design by Harri Koskinen. Its Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™) is made of die-cast aluminium and shaped to reduce edge diffraction. With a well-controlled directivity pattern which minimises sound reflections from nearby surfaces, this outstanding system is ideal for indoor installations in acoustically challenging environments. Being a slightly larger speaker in the 4000 series the 4020 is the perfect solution for mid size theatres, restaurants, conference rooms, museums, art galleries, sport centres and more. Very often the 4020 can be used as full range speaker without the help of a subwoofer due to its amazing bass capabilities.
Since it is an active speaker system you connect it directly to a source (Computer, Projector,, Flat Screen TV)
All Genelec loudspeakers feature the same neutral sound character which allows you to combine the 4020 with any other 4000 Series products and achieve the same sound imaging. Nature will be thanking you too: Genelec holds an environmental certificate for its operations and recycled aluminium is used for the enclosures of the 4000 Series active loudspeakers. They also feature Genelec’s Intelligent Signal Sensing circuitry ISS, which automatically switches the loudspeaker on and off, depending on the presence of an audio signal at the input.
All speakers are designed and hand built in Finland.
