Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ Ds

Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ Ds are particle repellent sound-absorbing ceilings for clean rooms where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis. The ceilings are classified ISO 3 according to ISO 14644-1. The surface is resistant to common detergents and disinfectants. The absorbers are low-emitting and thus ensures high indoor-air quality, they are resistant to mould and bacteria growth and they withstand HPV cleaning. The system consists of Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ Ds tiles and Ecophon Connect™ grid systems, with an approximate weight of 3-4 kg/m². The Ds system has only vertical joints which minimise dirt traps. The tiles are manufactured from high density glass wool. The visible surface has an Akutex™ HP coating and the back of the tile is covered with a cleanable painted surface. The edges are painted. The grid is manufactured from galvanized steel. The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect™ Hold down clip Ds in order to withstand pressure during cleaning and to minimise dirt traps.
