Island Support System

Floating an overhang on more than one side of an island or peninsula requires an innovative solution and our Island Support System fits the bill. This unique 3-piece system uses lap joints to create a custom bracket specific to your kitchen. Once mounted the countertop support creates a cantilever, leveraging the weight of the countertop as well as the ½ inch steel. It’s a great bracket and perfect for multiple overhangs.

If you choose to place an order online we will need the following information in the comment section to complete your order:

• Length of both overhangs (this is the amount of countertop that extends beyond the cabinet wall)
• Direction overhang extends off the cabinet (direction is determined when standing in front of your cabinets, usually on the kitchen side, where you would open the drawers/doors)
• Cabinet dimensions and whether or not it is a frameless cabinet
