Area of Refuge 16-Station Analog Command Unit

This fully integrated command unit accommodates up to 16 ADA-compliant area of rescue stations. The unit’s strobe/sounder indicates an incoming call, and LED lights indicate the calling location.

Features and Benefits

On-site calling requires no outside phone lines
Off-site calling requires only one phone line for up to 8 Stations (AOR-16 requires 2 phone lines): line seizure eliminates need for dedicated phone line
Blinking LEDs indicate Stations that are waiting to be answered. When first call is completed, 2nd call is automatically placed, phone rings and strobe/siren is activated
Includes hardware to detect short/open conditions on cabling for each area of rescue station. With this update, the system will also recognize a AOR Series Command Unit.
Siren is activated when Emergency call is first detected, shuts off when call has been answered
Strobe is activated when Emergency call is first detected and remains active for duration of call
Built-in UPS provides 4-hour power back up in case of power failure

Fault Monitoring: Activation of any AOR Station, opens/shorts on AOR Station cabling, 110VAC input power failure (primary power loss), low battery backup (low voltage detected), and system ground fault
Mounting: Surface mount or recess mount with optional trim ring (Model AOR-TR16). Strobe/sounder mounts to standard 4-inch square box.
Power: 120VAC, 0.7 A (max)
Supervision Relay: Activation of Any AOR Station: Contact closure (relay) output; Open/Short Fault on AOR Stations: Contact closure (relay) output; AC Input Power Failure: 24VDC output; Low Battery (Low Voltage Detected): Low/short output; and System Ground Fault: Contact closure (relay) output.
Wiring: One (1) twisted, shielded pair per station not to exceed 25 ohms resistance
