Horizontal cassette system SZ20 is a Ventilated Facade System (VFS). SZ-20 is the ideal solution for horizontal cassettes layout.

The system utilizes horizontal profiles at the back of the cassette ensuring fast and easy installation while achieving large spans between vertical supports. The system allows the movement of the façade material due to thermal expansion without compromising the integrity of the system.

etalbond^® is an Aluminium Composite Panel which consists of two aluminium layers with a thickness of 0.5 mm bonded with a polyethylene core, etalbond^®PE, or a fire retardant mineral filled polymer core, etalbond^®FR, minerals ≥ 70%, or an incombustible core, etalbond^®A2, minerals ≥ 90%, with a total thickness of the panel equal to 3, 4 or 6 mm.

In addition to the aesthetical upgrade of the building, the VFS includes the ventilation gap, which contributes to the thermally efficient behaviour of the building, forming an air layer between the outer environment and the inner of the building, assisting the moisture extraction and improving the circulation of fresh air while the cladding is acting as an additional sound barrier and improves shading.

Horizontal Cassette System is a cladding system which uses the main Omega profile (code ECI1) with custom support brackets available (contact ecs@elval-colour.com). Also, horizontal profiles are used which are clamped together (S profile - ECI2 and Z profile - ECI4). For the bottom cassette series, the starter profile is used (ECI3). Vertical U shapes profiles can be used at the side turns for reinforcement (code 10899). The cassette are fixed to the Z profiles using self tapping screws. etalbond^® colour charts in Revit and ArchiCAD format included. etalbond^® is coil coated with a variety of coating thicknesses, number of layers and types (PVDF4/3/2, lumiflon, VHDPE), aluminium alloys (EN AW 3105 H44 / EN AW 3105/3005/3003/5005 H44 / 5754 H42), according to the project location and requirements. etalbond^® fire classification (A2-s1,d0 / B-s1,d0) according to the building type and regulations and total thickness according to structural needs.
