ISOL CLS (Coppelle per tiranti)

SACOP ISOL CLS are a fire resistant protection for solid steel bars in tension, and are made of rigid calcium silicate half-shells with a length of 500 mm each, to be assembled during the assembly phase on the linkage, covered with a calendered galvanized steel sheet, 0,25 mm thick and 1000 mm long. For the tensioner, the same system is available, with a larger diameter, so as to enclose the connecting element (called key or tensioner) inside the silicate and sheet protection with a length equal to 500 mm.

Field of application
The characteristic of SACOP ISOL CLS is to protect solid steel bars in tension and the relative tensioner in case of fire, in order to prevent the temperature from rising and to exceed the critical point of 300-350°. This system has been tested in the laboratory on a sample of steel solid bar having a diameter of 22 mm, therefore it is suitable on any steel solid bar with equal or greater section.

The performance of SACOP ISOL CLS product was determined through the Technical Assessment Report n.STMG-SCP-CP-01rev-02, drawn up on the basis of Test Report n. IG 303750 of 14/03/2014.
