Beat Wall

Beat is a black wall light that features a solid brass dimmer dial and the shade can be adjusted to direct the light beam. Made from hand spun brass sculpted by artisan craftsmen in Northern India, the creation of this Beat light is part of an ancient process that takes four days to complete. This modern desk light has a matte black finish which contrasts against its warm, golden beaten interior that is re-purposed to refract and reflect a soft and warm luminosity.

Bearing the mark of its maker, Beat is a celebration of the beauty of things created by hand. Hand-raised, welded, beaten and finally skimmed on a lathe, the Beat shades retain hammer marks from their forming. The collection includes Table, Floor and Ceiling lights.
