Overlap Table

Designed by TAF. Overlap Table is a simple high-quality table that stands strong on its overlapping steel legs. The contrast between the rustic wooden planks and the powder-coated steel gives the table a modern edge and contemporary appeal that makes it an obvious choice, both indoors and outdoors.

Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there. POWDER COATED STEEL Why Steel is a strong, timeless and malleable material – enabling designs with thin profiles and various patterns and shapes. The steel has received a decorative powder coating – a high-quality and dry finishing process that gives a stronger and more streamlined surface than conventional liquid paintings. Cleaning Use soapy water and a soft brush. Wipe off with a dry cloth. Note: Do not use abrasive pads or abrasive cleaning agents as this may harm the surface. Maintenance Although sturdy and resistant, powder coated steel is not invincible, be careful not to make scratches in the surface as it will make the material vulnerable to corrosion. Winter storage The product is usable in all types of wind and weather, all year round. However, during wintertime, it is advisable to store the furniture in an unheated room such as a garage or cellar. WESTERN RED CEDAR Origin Western Red Cedar is commonly found in western North America. The Skagerak Western Red Cedar comes from Canada. Why Western Red Cedar is a good choice for outdoor furniture as the wood is naturally resistant to bugs and insects, mould, decay and bacteria. As the wood ages, it takes on a beautiful silver-grey patina. Cleaning Use suitable furniture cleaner for outdoor use. Stains can be removed with mild bleach, water and a soft cloth. Maintenance As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time. If you wish to maintain the original amber coloured appearance, treat the wood with an appropriate furniture oil. Be aware that the oil will darken the wood a tad. Winter storage This product is usable in all weathers, all year round. However, if you want indoor storage during the winter months, it is advisable to store the furniture in an unheated room such as a garage or a cellar.
