Fire-Rated Non Insulated Access Panel with Plaster Flange (BA-FRN-PF)

BA-FRN-PF Fire Rated Non Insulated Access Panel With Plaster Flange

Building codes mandate fire-rated walls and ceilings to prevent fire spread and contain blazes. Standard access panels can compromise these walls and ceilings, creating safety hazards. The BA-FRN-PF Fire Rated Non Insulated Access Panel With Plaster Flange ensures compliance with building codes and prioritizes safety. It maintains functionality and easy access to utilities, preventing repair delays and safety risks.

The BA-FRN-PF fire-rated access panel is a reliable and user-friendly solution for accessing utilities hidden behind fire-rated walls and ceilings. It meets building code requirements with a 3-hour fire rating for walls and up to 3 hours in non-combustible ceilings.

The panel features a 16-gauge cold-rolled steel frame, a 20-gauge steel door, and fire-rated mineral wool insulation. It offers customization options and is NFPA compliant, contributing to LEED certification.

Why Should You Use the <Insert Dimensions> FRN-PF?

    • Uncompromised Fire Rating: Building code compliance is essential, and the BA-FRN-PF, with its 3-hour fire rating for walls and up to 3 hours in non-combustible ceilings, ensures your project meets fire safety regulations. This fire-resistant panel prioritizes the safety of your building occupants in case of a fire.
    • Easy Access for Maintenance: Unlike standard access panels that might compromise fire safety, the BA-FRN-PF provides easy access to critical utilities behind fire-rated walls and ceilings. The self-closing, self-latching mechanisms, and automatic closer ensure proper closure while allowing for convenient access whenever maintenance is needed. This prevents repair delays and avoids potential safety risks associated with difficult access.
    • Durable Construction and Long-lasting Performance: The BA-FRN-PF is built to last. The 16-gauge steel frame, 20-gauge steel door, and fire-rated mineral wool insulation guarantee a strong and reliable solution for years. You can be confident this access panel will continue providing fire protection and easy access over time.
    • User-Friendly Features and Customization Options: The BA-FRN-PF isn't just about functionality; it prioritizes user experience. The continuous piano hinge and self-closing mechanisms ensure ease of use, while the automatic closer eliminates an extra step. Larger doors have a standard inside panel release for additional convenience. On top of that, you can customize the access panel with various latch options and a stainless-steel material upgrade to suit your specific needs and aesthetic preferences.
    • Code Compliance and Potential LEED Benefits: The BA-FRN-PF is NFPA compliant, giving you peace of mind that it meets fire safety standards. As a bonus, this fire-rated access panel can potentially contribute to LEED certification for your building project, demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability.

The FRN-PF access panel offers a strong combination of fire ratings and easy access functionality. Its fire rating provides peace of mind in case of a fire, while the plaster flange ensures a clean and inconspicuous look.
