If you choose your own laminate color, the price of the product can be affected depending on how many seats we can get out of a laminate board.

Steel

Nola uses high-quality steel with good strength in our products. Steel rusts if left untreated and must therefore be surface treated. This is done through electro-galvanization and powder coating, hot-dip galvanizing, or application of a zinc powder primer.

Hot-dip galvanized

Hot-dip galvanizing provides very strong protection against corrosion. The steel is dipped into a bath of hot liquid zinc. The zinc attaches and creates a surface coating on the steel part, which is then taken out of the bath and drained of excess zinc.

Compact laminate

Compact laminate is a sheet material made of kraft paper and phenolic resins, pressed together under heat and extreme pressure. The material is completely water resistant.

Assembly and placement

Surface mount

Can be bolted above ground, to the floor or to a cast-in-place foundation. Bolts not included.

Delivered fully assembled, ready to be bolted to a pre-prepared surface on site.

Maintenance

Hotdip galvanized steel

Hot-dip galvanized can be touch-up painted with so-called "cold galvanizing".

Compact laminate

Compact laminate is very a strong and heavy material. It does not normally require maintenance.
