  • MAIN STRUCTURE The inner frame consists of 2 sides + a back panel assembled together and of a movable element (condensate tray). It is made of galvanised steel: 8/10 mm thick for units size 110÷218 and 10/10 mm for sizes 220÷328. The sides have a special structure near the coil connections in order to avoid the headers’ deformation while connecting the unit to the system (anti-torsion structure). All the inner elements are completely lined with closed cell thermal insulation material. The insulated condensate tray can be removed independently of the other components and it is perfectly effective both in vertical and in horizontal position.The condensed water is discharged from the side (left or right, by choice), through a 20 mm external diameter header. WATER COILS The District Cooling coils consist of aluminium fin packs and mechanically expanded copper tubes. They are designed with a reduced number of circuits and are suitable for operating with high water temperature difference (i.e 9 °C). Standard water connections are on the right side of the unit, facing the air outlet; however the coils can be easily removed and reversed on site. Each header is provided with a very handy air valve, to allow air venting or water drainage from the coil. All water connections are ½“ G (female threaded). Max operating pressure (without valves): 16 bar. Min/max water temperature: 5/85 °C. FAN DECK The centrifugal motor, single- or double-shaft, is single phase with permanently connected capacitor and thermal protection of the windings. Units 222÷328 have six speeds motors while units 110÷220 have single speed motors and connected autotransformers, to provide six available speeds. Three of the fan speeds are factory wired as standard. The motor and the scrolls are fixed on a galvanized steel basement: 12/10 mm for sizes 110÷218 and 15/10 mm for sizes 220÷328. The motor is located in a proper cradle and fixed with elastic ribbon supports. Each fan deck is dinamically balanced, to reduce noise and wear of the components to minimum levels. It is independent of the structure and it can be easily removed by taking away two fixing screws. It consists of a centrifugal fan with one (sizes 110÷114), two (sizes 216÷228.1) or three (size 328) aluminum impellers directly splined to the motor shaft and of galvanized steel scrolls. All motors are suitable for 50/60Hz operation. Power supply: 230V ±6%. ELECTRIC PANEL The electric box (CBL00) consists of a self-extinguishing plastic box (class V0 - IP30) containing a 12 poles terminal board with screw terminals. The electric box is fixed on the left side of the unit (standard) and it can be easily removed and shift on the opposite side, if water connections need to be reversed. One electric wiring diagram is always supplied along with each unit, showing the ordered electrical accessories. The full respect of the wiring diagram is necessary for a good functioning of the unit. AIR FILTER The regenerable air filter is made of non-hygroscopic filtering material enclosed in a galvanized steel frame with two wide mesh nets. The filter is located on the bottom side of the unit and it can be removed by releasing its fixing. It can be cleaned by washing it with soap and water, drying it in open-air. Filtering class: G1.   ACCESSORIES CONTROL VALVES A wide choice of regulating valves is available, factory fitted: 2 way or 3 way valves, actuators ON/OFF 230V, ON/OFF 24V, MODULATING 0-10V (24V), PIV (pressure independent valves). Shut-off full bore ball valves are available (DT), to separate the unit from the piping system if maintenance is required. The auxiliary drain pan is always delivered together with the basic unit. ELECTRIC HEATER Stainless steel electric heater with relay card (CBL20), supplied with two safety thermostats: one with automatic reset and the other with manual reset. Power of the electric heater depends on the size of the selected unit. CONDENSATE PUMP The condensate pump is required when the natural water discharge is not allowed. AIR SUPPLY PLENUM The air supply plenum (KPM) is made of galvanized steel, insulated inside, provided with round spigots for the connection to the air ducts. It is designed for installation at the air outlet of the unit. 90° AIR SUPPLY PLENUM The 90° air supply plenum (KPM90) is made of galvanized steel, insulated inside, provided with a rectangular collar for the connection to the air duct. It is designed for installation at the air outlet of the unit. AIR INTAKE PLENUM The air suction plenum (KPA) is made of galvanized steel, provided with a rectangular collar for the connection to the air duct. It is designed for installation near the filter section, at the air intake of the unit. The air filter remains accessible for the maintenance operations: it can be removed by simply rotating the two filter supports. AIR INTAKE PLENUM WITH ROUND SPIGOTS The air suction plenum with spigots (KPAS) is made of galvanized steel, provided with round spigots for the connection to the air ducts. It is designed for installation near the filter section, at the air intake of the unit. The air filter remains accessible for the maintenance operations: it can be removed by simply rotating the two filter supports. 90° AIR INTAKE PLENUM The 90° air suction plenum (KPA90) is made of galvanized steel, provided with a rectangular collar for the connection to the air duct. It is designed for installation near the filter section, at the air intake of the unit. The air filter remains accessible for the maintenance operations: it can be removed by simply rotating the two filter supports. AIR INTAKE DUCT CONNECTION The air intake duct connection (KRCA) is made of galvanized steel and it consists of a rectangular collar for the connection to the air suction duct. TELESCOPIC AIR OUTLET CONNECTION The telescopic air outlet connection (KRCMF) is made of galvanized steel, insulated inside. It can be combined with an aluminum grill (KGM), optional upon request. TELESCOPIC 90° AIR INLET CONNECTION The 90° telescopic air intake connection (KRCAF90) is made of galvanized steel and it consists of a 90° air intake plenum with integrated G3 filter. It can be combined with an aluminum grill (KGA), optional upon request. REGULATION A wide choice of electronic regulators is available upon request: from the simple fan speed selector to microprocessor controls, to OMNIBUS 360 digital controllers. Sensors compatible to microprocessor controls and OMNIBUS 360: - Water sensor, having function of minimum water temperature thermostat or Summer/Winter changeover switch - Air sensor at the air intake of the unit - Check sensor at the air outlet of the unit (OMNIBUS 360 controls only), to detect and provide malfunction alarms.
