Dura-Guard 2000/3000 Heavy Duty
The Dura-Guard™ 2000/3000 Heavy Duty Series Doors are designed to lower costly door repairs resulting from the abuse and collisions with carts and fork lift trucks. These doors are ideal for home centers and warehouses where automatic doors are subjected to daily rigors. The door is configured to open quickly to prevent collisions. If the doors are hit, rugged construction will minimize damage to the door. Two stainless steel crash bars with rubber isolated shock mounting allow for shock absorption and deflect colliding carts off the door, preventing possible glass damage. In addition the kickplates protect the bottom rail from impact damage and further strengthen the door by “strapping” lead and rear stiles together, which also have tie rods and welded corners.
Features and Benefits:
RUGGED CONSTRUCTION
The Dura-Guard 2000/3000 Heavy Duty Series minimizes structural damage in the event of a collision. Two stainless steel crash bars with rubber isolated shock mounting allows for shock absorption and deflects colliding carts off the door, preventing possible glass damage. Kickplates protect the bottom rail from impact damage and further strengthens the door by “strapping” lead and rear stiles together.
DOOR EXTRUSIONS
Heavy duty door extrusions consisting of 3 1/2” wide door stiles, provide structural integrity. Door stiles are assembled with threaded rods and welded corners, providing extra strength while preventing racking.
ARMORED STRIKE LOCKING
Heavy duty 8 laminate hook bolt and re-enforcement of stile for security.
ROTARY SWITCH
Easy to use and changes modes quickly. Reduces the need for service calls.
ACTIVATION & SAFETY
Two Stanley Motion Sensors detect moving objects. The Infra-red Motion Sensor provides additional activation detection for objects not detected by the microwave sensor, enabling the doors to open quicker.
REDUNDANT SAFETY
2 doorway holding beams and the Stan-Guard threshold safety sensor are standard. Infra-red side impact sensors are offered for redundant safety.
CONVENIENCE
Stanley’s Rotary Switch settings are easy to read which facilitates changing the door operation modes for our customers. This switch reduces unnecessary service calls which happen when rocker switches are not in the correct setting.
BREAKOUT
The Dura-Guard 2000/3000 Heavy Duty Series is available with either the sliding panels (SX) only breaking out for emergency egress or both the sliding and fixed panels (SX and SO) breaking out. The breakout feature also enables the loading of the store through the doors by creating a larger opening. Wind Resistant Dampers provide controlled breakout on the SX panels for the 2000 and SO panels for the 3000. They reduce door panel damage by controlling breakout in strong winds and is designed to handle corner zone applications.
