Renderoc LAF-IC - Repair microconcrete (R4)

High fluidity, fiber modified microconcrete.  Renderoc LAF-IC is ideal for the reinstatement of large, structural sections of concrete as well as for many smaller locations where difficulties of access make hand or trowel-applied mortars impractical. The addition of corrosion inhibitors makes it particularly suitable for applications in coastal areas, seaports and land environments containing sulphated waters.

Renderoc LAF-IC is a Class R4 mortar in accordance with EN 1504-3.  

It is included in the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD): Global EPD 006-024.

Renderoc LAF-IC is supplied as a ready to use blend of dry powders requiring only the site addition of clean water to produce a free-flowing, shrinkage compensated micro-concrete.  It contains PP fibers of 6 mm length and 42 micron diameter.

The material is based on Portland cement, graded aggregates and additives which impart controlled expansion in both the plastic and hardened states while minimising water demand. Its low alkali content minimises the risk of alkali-silica reaction. The hardened product exhibits excellent thermal compatibility with concrete.
