    Solarban® 70 Glass

    Clarity. Consistency. Performance.

Solarban® 70 Glass (formerly Solarban® 70XL Glass) is the most commonly specified triple-silver-coated low‑e glass in the industry.

    Balance Form & Function

With its transparent, color-neutral aesthetic and unprecedented solar control and visible light transmittance (VLT) characteristics, Solarban® 70 glass can help you strike the right balance between form and function. Due to its clarity, consistency and solar control performance, Solarban® 70 glass has become the most commonly specified triple-silver-coated glass in the industry, with more than 300 million square-feet shipped in the past 10 years.

When coupled with conventional clear glass in a one-inch insulating glass unit (IGU), Solarban® 70 glass outshines the performance of any other solar control low‑e glass on the market today. Solarban® 70 glass can be combined in an insulating glass unit with any tinted glass from Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG glass).

Cost Savings & Increased Efficiency with Solarban® 70 Glass

Realize the benefits of specifying Solarban® 70 glass before the building is even occupied. Because of the exceptional solar control characteristics of Solarban® 70 glass, you may specify smaller HVAC systems for buildings glazed with this product, which may provide a significant reduction in the associated up-front capital outlay in the HVAC equipment. As a result, by specifying Solarban® 70 glass instead of other solar control low-e coated glass products, you may recoup your investment within a matter of months.
