An innovative product with a positive ecological balance, combining design, lightness and mechanical resistance, the EGGER Eurolight honeycomb panel, composed of two 8 mm thick facings and a honeycomb core made of recycled cardboard, seduces by its simplicity of implementation, and its compatibility with all fastening systems. The Eurolight honeycomb panel can be machined with standard tools and does not require any specific hardware for fastening and finishing. Due to the optimal thickness of its exterior faces, the overlapping of the edges is done without prior insertion of a frame. The edgebanding is done without prior frame insertion with 2 mm thick thermoplastic edgebands. For cutting or banding, the maximum pressure allowed is 0.15 N/mm² (1.5 kg/cm²). Eurolight's 38mm and 50mm panels can save you time and money by eliminating the need to glue several elements together. In addition, you will save even more money during installation, as less labor is required to handle the elements.
All EGGER products are produced in an environmentally responsible manner. In addition, thanks to the recycled cardboard core, Eurolight panels use up to 60% less wood than particleboard.
The use of thick materials increases the weight of the elements and makes it difficult to comply with handling regulations. By reducing the weight by up to 60% compared to particleboard of equivalent thickness, Eurolight panels solve this problem. The available stock size is 2800 x 2070 x 38 or 50mm and the raw P2 particleboard facings are 8mm thick for subsequent veneering with various coatings, classified as Euroclass D-s2, d0.
