AF SLEEVES intumescent sheath for plastic pipes

AF SLEEVES are preformed intumescent sleeves which protect combustible plastic pipe penetrations. AF SLEEVES are made of a material with a high thermoexpansion power which, when heated, guarantee the pipe sealing. AF SLEEVES
material, when expanded, can block fumes and flames, and its thermal insulation offers class for up to EI 240 fire protection.
AF SLEEVES have the same use as the AF COLLAR. The choice between one product and another depends on whether the fire protection can be placed inside the horizontal and vertical combustible pipe penetrations. The use of AF SLEEVES is appropriate if the structure is solid and has the necessary support to develop the internal expansion. If this is impossible, the use of AF COLLAR is recommended as an alternative.
