When it comes to hanging drywall, there are no shortcuts. Ensuring a beautiful, seamless finished product requires attention to detail, patience, and focus. BA-FRI Fire-Rated Insulated Access Panel, designed for fire-rated walls, streamlines your installation process for maximum efficiency.

BA-FRI makes installations easier with a 1” exposed flange that facilitates a more secure installation with enhanced structural support within drywalls and ceilings.

This access panel is constructed by Best Access Doors of robust and durable steel and boasts a fire rating of up to 2 hours for inclusion throughout commercial or residential projects.

BA-FRI offers excellent value as an insulated fire-rated access door and supports fire-rated walls with a robust 2.5 "cold-rolled steel frame. The sleek steel finish is well-crafted and a pleasure to handle and install.

Standard models arrive with a high-quality white powder coat primer that will blend in with drywall. However, if necessary, you can texture, wallpaper, or paint the panel door to suit your décor.

Where restricted access to internal components is necessary, you can substitute BAC-FRI's standard tool key-operated cam and latch (ring-operated slam latch also included) for a;

  • Handle-operated slam latch
  • Mortise preparation for cylinder (cylinder optional)
  • Hex head slam latch
  • Mortise deadbolt lock

Standard units over 12 "x 12” also have an inside panel release, providing convenient and hassle-free access for entries and exits.
