Alutech ALT.SL160 Lift&Slide System

Alutech ALT.SL160 Lift&Slide System

The ALT SL160 Lift and Slide Door System is a modern solution for the large aperture glazing. The functionality of the system is provided by the variety of the opening types: doors do not occupy the inner space, disengage a large area, integrate several rooms or room and the terrace.

The ALT SL160 system provides architects and designers with the wide range of opportunities for large apertures – wall replacement by thermally insulated lift and slide doors, high anti-burglary capabilities, improved illumination and significant economy of the useful area.

Specially designed sealing and ledge elements have been developed to withstand unfavorable weather conditions, reliably protecting the premises from wind, moisture and noise.

Foam inserts allow to achieve high thermal insulation level (Uf ≤ 1.3 W / m²K) and to provide thermal insulation characteristics similar to the best European analogues.

Internal and / or add-on reinforcing profiles allow to produce the sash up to 3.3 m in height and up to 3.2 m in width even in regions with huge wind loads. The guide rail is made of stainless steel and provides smooth sash sliding with heavy triple-glazed windows up to 50 mm thickness.

Based on the test results the leading German hardware suppliers were chosen. The system hardware kits provide maximal functionality and allow to assemble all possible types of sash openings with maximal dimensions and weight up to 330 kg. In case of using additional sets of supporting carriages - up to 440 kg.

Specification
  • Increased sash dimensions
  • The system allows to assemble the sash up to 3300 mm in height and up to 3200 mm in width (it is recommended to use reinforcing elements while working with sashes of huge dimensions).

  • High thermal insulation level (Uf ≤ 1,3 W/m²K).
  • The usage of wide polyamide thermal bridges as well as the possibility of 50 mm triple glazing installation allows to perform better values of thermotechnics. The frame U-value comes up to 1,3 W/m²K.

  • Anti Bi-Metal polyamide thermal bridge
  • The usage of 32 mm «Anti Bi-Metal» polyamide thermal bridges in the sash profiles allows to compensate the changes caused by the temperature deviations between the inner and outer sides of the combined profiles.

  • Compatibility with ALT W72 series
  • The system retains the seam space geometry for infill unit equal to W72 series – the possible infill thickness is from 26 to 50 mm. The mounting depth of the SL160 sash profiles also coincides with the W72 profiles, so when using the SL160 in conjunction with the standard "warm" ALT series, the style remains unified and the perception of the external and internal appearance of the objects is ensured.

  • The SL160.0940, SL160.0941/0942 ledge kits
  • The accessories, necessary for the assembly of ALT SL160 system, are combined into several ledge kits for the convenience and ease of matching of the customers.
