One closing system for each need

The choice always depends on the required level of security and the opening direction of the profiles. Let our staff help you.

      STANDARD CLOSING SYSTEM

Easy and practical: a stainless steel cable that joins lower and upper bolts when pulling it.

      CLOSING SYSTEM WITH A KEY

As safe as a security door, the main panel is closed with a key, so the system is completely locked. It can be opened from both sides.

      CLOSING SYSTEM WITH SLIDING BLOCK

High resistance to strong winds and adverse weather conditions. A sliding bolt that blocks the opening of the panel. Tested in laboratories and analysed in several tests, obtaining a wind resistance up to 190 km/h.

      CLOSING SYSTEM WITH PANEL BLOCK

Maximum safety inside and outside, as it blocks panel opening with a key and a lock. The best option for outside threats and to avoid children using the system.

      CLOSING SYSTEM WITH HANDLE

Best comfort in your hands. By pulling a steel cable, bolts open and panels move to the storage area. Optional inside opening or opening from both sides.

      Panel Storage

Magnetic system + fixing clip for main panel

Exclusive practical and aesthetic system for the storage and fixing of the panels. Powerful magnets installed inside the profiles keep the panels linked to each other when they are in open position. Finally, the first panel fixes itself to the closest surface by using the clip piece.

      INSTALLATION

Basic Pro: adaptable to multiple uses

Adaptable to multiple forms, different angles and curves, up to 2 m high.

Slide and turn glass door – Square

Slide and turn glass door – Irregular

Slide and turn glass door – L-shape

Slide and turn glass door – Curve

Slide and turn glass door – Inside-outside opening

      Panels opening and movement

Glass panels move along the system individually and sideways towards the storage area. Once all panels are open, they are stored at one side and leave open space.

      Profile finish options

The aluminium profiles used in the Acristalia systems are exclusive of the branch. Their manufacturing starts from primary smelting aluminium bars, whose alloy is 6063-T6, highly resistant to corrosion and high mechanical solidity. The technical, mechanical and quality specifications are according to UNE 38-066-89 / ISO-6362/4-1988.

      Acristalia – RAL

      Acristalia – Wood

      Acristalia – Anodized

We have a wide range of finish options for our slide and turn glass doors, from RAL lacquer, anodized or wood imitations. Any of these finish options are under the quality procedures of superficial treatment Qualicoat, Qualanod o Qualideco.

      Glass options

Glass used in the manufacture of Acristalia frameless slide and turn glass door are top-quality, being the tempered glass or thermally toughened soda lime silicate glass the most used one. This glass has achieved the maximum safety classification and it complies with the UNE-EN12150-1 and the UNE-EN12150-2 standards.

Acristalia offers the possibility of manufacturing the slide and turn door in almost any type of glass on the market: transparent, coloured, matt, decorated, with solar control… Available glass thickness in Basic Pro Series is 6, 8 and 10 mm

      GUARANTEE

Best performance of the international market

The Acristalia frameless slide and turn glass door systems have been entirely manufactured with national product and following the strictest international regulations of manufacture in each of its components, which provide the system with the best services of the international market.

Acristalia is a company certified according the Norm ISO 9001:2008 guaranteeing to its clients that our products are made and commercialized under exhaustive production and management controls in factory.

The tempered glass used in the frameless slide and turn door systems has obtained the CE marking with the maximum classification for all its range of products following the UNE 12150-1. The glass provides the system with all the mechanical and safety properties, offering high shock resistance, protection under sudden changes of temperature and safer response in case of breakages, as they do not produce sharp-pointed fragments. Aluminium used in our systems is composed of alloys, specially studied, to offer high mechanical performance, shock resistance, great durability and easy cleaning.

They completely fulfil the European regulations UNE-EN 755-2 and UNE-EN 755-9. Not all manufacturers can stamp the international quality label Qualicoat on their lacquered products. The anodized options of our catalogue follow all guidelines marked by the quality label Qualanod such as UNE-EN ISO 2360, EN 12373-1, UNE-EN 12373-4, EN 12373-7.

Likewise, the Acristalia frameless slide and turn door systems have been submitted to tests and essays in APPLUS laboratory notified by ENAC, where the systems have been evaluated by the most demanding regulations of the sector, in which it is specified that these systems must be tested according to the Norm 12211:2000, “Windows and doors. Test method”, obtaining a result of resistance to the wind of 1800 Pascals (strong winds equivalent to 193 Km/h). Furthermore, tests of manoeuvrability have been carried out following UNE-EN 13659:2004 so that we can ensure the correct functioning of the system after having been subject to strong winds.

Another feature of our systems is its reduction of the acoustic noise to 21dB, possibly being the highest value of the market. Tests realized according to the norm UNE EN ISO 140-3:1995.

      MAINTENANCE

As new as the first day

A correct use and regular maintenance guarantee the very best performance and a long service life.

Standard closing system: Pulling the cable strong enough to operate the top and bottom bolts. Once the panel is opened, move it with your hand. Do not use the cable as hand puller to move the panel.

Closing system with handle: Turning the handle clockwise to operate the top and bottom bolts. This handle could be used as hand puller to move the panel.

Closing system with a key: The use is similar to that of any door with handle and key.

In case that the slide and turn door has been installed including some of the additional security elements, such as the sliding block or the key (always recommended for children), these must be always unlocked before operating any of the opening systems.

In all cases, it is important that every single panel that is placed in the opening position remain linked to each other with the system of magnets, and the first panel must remain blocked to the wall with the clip piece that is supplied.

The slide and turn door should slide easily through the guides and pass smoothly through the angles -if any. If that is not the case, please verify that there are not obstacles inside the rails.

      CLEANING

The PVC water seals used between glass must not be cleaned with abrasive cleaning products, because the contact with those together with the exposition to sun rays can deteriorate them.

Use cleaning products for this purpose to clean the glass. Do not use utensils that could provoke damages or scratches. In case of special or coated glass a special care must be taken. Do not dry clean. The cleanliness of the glass is extremely easy in our glass slide and turn door. In the closing position, you will access the inner side of the glass; and in the open position, you will access the outer side of the system.

Use cloths and dusters for cleaning the profiles. Do not use scrapping tools or utensils that may cause them damages. Use neutral non-abrasive products, whatever the profile finish.

In places with strong winds, it is recommended the use of additional security systems, such as the key or the sliding block for cable or handle mechanisms.

It is essential to perform a proper installation for the correct functioning of the slide and turn glass door,
