R 816 CE - Epoxy coal tar coating

R 816 CE is a two component coating based on unmodified epoxy resin cured with a polyamine curing agent. It has excellent water & alkali resistance where it combines the chemical resistant properties of an epoxy resin with excellent water resistant properties of a coal tar.

Type: Two pack, cold cured Colour: Black General composition: Amine cured epoxy, blended with coal tar Mixing ratio (R:H) - 2:1 by volume Finish: Semi glossy Pot life @ 270C (ASTM D 2471): 60-90 Minutes Drying time (ASTM D 1640) To touch 1-2 hrs Walkable 5-6 hrs Hard dry 24 hrs Full cure 7 days Overcoat interval: 6 hrs Performance data Flexibility test (ASTM D 522): Passes Cross cut adhesion test (ASTM D 3359): Passes Salt spray test 500 hrs (ASTM B 117): Passes
